Do any dealerships offer discounted Mopar parts (fenderliners, mudflaps, etc) through the site? Other forums I waste time on :D have a number of dealers undercutting each others price for parts. Wondered if that happened here.

Hopefully this isn't too much of noob question.

Thanks,

Todd

I use to have great success with Mopar4less.com. On one particular incident, UPS damaged and/or lost half of my order. Mopar4less sent me the replacement parts without question. Unfortunately, the last time I submitted an email for a quote to them, I never heard back. Give them a try as the savings (at least compared to my area) use to be pretty good.

I set up a discount at our local dealership, Pommerening Dodge. Tell them you're a TDR member and ask the price, they take credit cards and will ship. They sell to us at wholesale, usually a bit less than Mopar4Less. Phone #920-236-3110 gets you the parts department.

I've had great luck with Mopar4Less. But they just don't have the time to answer e-mails evidently. So call them. They are located in Farmington, New Mexico.

I've ordered a bunch from them and always found their prices to be the best.

There's a combined dealer discount set of links but the cheapest of the bunch is Tenafly in New Jersey: http://www.tenaflyjeepmoparparts.com/dodgetrucks.html

For example, I looked up a liftpump through the site given by jtwcummins above and got a price of $170.

The price for the same part at Tenafly is $140.

Both show the same list price. $140. is the best I've found with others ranging in five dollar increments above that.

It's a short sample admittedly, but seems to hold true across the board.

You won't see that here on TDR because long ago the memership decided they didn't want the the forums turning into an ad board and outlawed it.

It's fine for members to share where to get the best deal, but no vendor price wars.

Just tell the parts guy at your local dealer that you're a mechanic, it's usually good for at least a 20% discount.

Tell them you own Wawazat Diesel Service and you may get more.

When a business puts up a website and acts as if they can respond to email--and then doesn't, they're going to lose some business.

So many disadvantages to using the phone-like business hours, time zones, busy signals, hold, wait, tolls, no record of exactly what was said/quoted/ordered.

Yup.

I'm not defending the way they do business, I am just telling you their prices are great. So if you want that, then call them.
