Good luck finding any as they were discontinued

8 years ago as far as I have been able to find out, there were a few at dealers scattered around the country, but have been picked up by members.

For your truck if you want the Mopar tach you will need to pick up a a complete kit that was offered by the dealer as you need all the wiring harness, bolts, brackets and sensor as well as you will need to buy the notched front vibration damper that is on the 92-93 intercooled trucks.

I was able to find 6 of these kits 5 years ago in a wharehouse, since then I sold or traded them, with one left for my 85 Crewcab Conversion if I will need it.

I am selling my 93 Clubcab with a Mopar Tach set up in the truck right now, I was going to tear the truck apart but cant seem to see myself tearing this apart when I bought it brand new and it has less than 99k miles.

Its seems a real shame, but we shall see if the truck sells.

I have even had a couple people email me and see if I will just sell the Tach out of the truck?

Good luck:)

I installed an Isspro Tach in my truck that runs off a signal from the alternator. I had to remove the back cover off the alt to install a wire to one of the rectifyer terminals. Then I had to calibrate it with an optical tach.

Installation was really easy. If you decide to go this way and need more help, just send me a PM.

I looked under my dash, and right next to, just to the right of the hood release, I found a plug. What could this plug in be for? Maybe the previous owner bought the tach package and before he sold the trk to me he kept the tach unit. This is two small drill holes on top of the dash about and inch or two apart, where maybe the tach was??? I wish I still had the previous owners #. .

Anyways could this plug in be for a tach? Thanks Bill

Bill,

There are a few stray wiring hook ups under the dash of my 93: the one for the tach is 4 flat, female end; about 1. 5 inches wide. I tried hooking up my ISSPRO tach that came in a later 91, and it didnt work. The green wire goes to nothing, though. I believe the others went inside the guage itself.

The plug you are talking about is the snow plow hook up, this is one of the plug hook up to use the factory wiring set up for the 89-early 91 trucks with non intercooler

email me direct with your phone number and I will call you
