OOPS these are for 2nd Gens, I guess they won't work on those quiet diesels.

You can use 2nd gen filters on 3rd gens. I use fleetguard LF-3894 on both trucks, the only difference being that the new filters for the 3rd gens have a fluted bottom for easier removal.
