Are the Mopar oil filters as good as the ones cummins sells?

Mopar oil filters for our Cummins powered Rams are Fleetguard filters painted grey with a Mopar label. They are the same filters but you'll pay a buck or two more for the convenience. I use them as the dealership is 4 miles away and Cummins is about 30 miles away.

Note, Fleetguard makes more than one filter that will fit our trucks. Right now their best are the ones that say "stratapore" - It is model LF 3894 for my truck. I think it is the same model number for all 24 valvers, but check to be sure. They also make a StrataPore for the 12 valve models, but I don't know the model number for that one.
I WISH they made one based on the LF3000 concept that includes a built-in bypass filtration system, and I told them that, but they politely told me "the TDR represents a relatively small percentage of the total market". I guess we should all take that as a compliment, but I'd rather they believed there were enough of us to give them more incentive to develop a "mini LF3000" for our trucks!

Amsoil makes a bypass filter system which does not use a separate bypass return line to the filler cap. Really nice setup: one aluminum manifold, one adapter, two oil lines ,one regular filter and one small particle filter. Don't recall the part number, but check with Amsoil. The small particle filter outlet is manifolded into the regular high flow return line.
