Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Anyone tried 35/40 with 60mm wheel and a 12 WG housing??

By Pass Filter?

Apparenty Mopar is offering a pre-heater, similar to Espar units???? Lou Fusz Dodge was offering it on a truck on EBay right now.

Anyone heard of this? Anyone using it? Comments? Price?

Mopar part number# 82209444AB

"BRAND NEW 2006 DODGE RAM 3500 MEGA CAB LARAMIE! THE ULTIMATE IN COMFORT AND ROOMINESS. HAS ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES INCLUDING A MOPAR PREHEATER THAT RUNS ON 1 CUP OF DIESEL FUEL AN HOUR. YOU CAN PRESET UP TO 3 DIFFERENT TIMES AND YOU CAN RUN IT FROM 10 MINUTES TO 2 HOURS, SO IF YOU WANT TO SET IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR WORK OR HOME YOU CAN HAVE THE CAB ALREADY HEATED UP BEFORE YOU GET IN. IT ALSO CAN BE USED TO KEEP THE ENGINE BLOCK WARM WITHOUT THE USE OF THE ENGINE BLOCK HEATER OPTION. THIS WILL SAVE YOU QUITE A BIT ON FUEL AND SINCE IT DOES NOT START THE ENGINE THERE IS NO WEAR AND TEAR DUE TO IDLING. "

At over $ 1750 bucks from dodge, I'll go aftermarket... ...

BTW - The TDR member price is like $1150-$1200 (just the parts). THough I am not sure of how expensive or hard the install is... .

Tomey I'd like more info please They have a aftermarket unit? Can it be hooked up to a '05? Got a cut sheet on this? Thanks

The little logo on the control looks like Espar's. You can get an Espar DW5 from Lubrication Specialists (Greg Landuyt, a member) for $1000. Takes you a good day to install it yourself, so that might not be that bad a price installed. Love mine. (got 2 of them)

I'd like to have one but I park mine inside the pole barn, so the fumes after two hours wouldn't be good :(

I have a friend that has a Wabasto heater, there is no smell when running... very clean burning unit! Thumbs up, if i ever buy a new truck, it will have one for sure!
