So, do the Mopar Splash Guards work with the side steps or not?

I’m finding mixed info.

Anyone running both?

Crew Cab with OE fender flares.

If you mean mud flaps for splash guards, I have the Heavy rubber ones with Amp powerstep without any issues. Hope that helps.

The heavy rubber mopar mud flaps would be less likely to interfere than the molded plastic one as they mount pretty flat to the fender face. I can shoot you a photo if you need.

I order the Mopar Heavy Duty Rubber Spash Guards. They had to back order them, but they fit nicely and work well. Also, you need to indicate if you have the factory flares. See attached.

So, I didn’t realize they had HD and non-HD flaps.

I’m thinking I’ll order the HD flaps and just go that route. I spend plenty of time on dirt/rocks so the extra coverage is a good thing.

On my 18 I have Mopar wheel to wheel SS steps and the Mopar HD rubber flaps. No issues. Never cared for the molded ones. Also I hear they rub the paint off over time. Had the rubber ones on my 07 from new with no issue. No steps on it though.

Personally, I went with Dura-Flaps. They do far more than molded flap for gravel and dirt. Kinda pricey but they work. Look nice too. No drill.

I had them on my 05. One vibrated loose, and then I wasn’t any more impressed with them than other flaps.

I also didn’t like their firmness when they would hit sticks, rocks, etc.

I have used conveyor belting, but splurged on these this time. Liked the custom sizing. Every molded flap I have every had has either not done much for protection, or cracked, broken. This truck doesn't see much off road, use the others for that. They only have truck rear flaps(on dually flatbed), or none, either by choice or accident.o_O Hopefully you'll find something you'll be pleased with.:)

I have the Mopar molded guards on my 18 with factory wheel to wheel steps just like those shown in post #9 above. I also had them on the 14 1500 I just sold. On the 14 I took a heat gun and put a small indent to make them fit perfect, on the 18 I ordered PN 82214136/7 for front and rear and they fit perfectly with no modifications.

You wouldn't be disappointed with the HD Mopar flaps.
Don't know where they align price wise with where you are looking but Geno's carries them as well.

I have the HD rubber mopar splash guards on mine and have been happy with them. No issues with them and the mopar black side steps but they are not the wheel to wheel steps.
