If you mean mud flaps for splash guards, I have the Heavy rubber ones with Amp powerstep without any issues. Hope that helps.
Yes. The flaps touch the running boards but not enough to cause a problem in my opinion. So, do the Mopar Splash Guards work with the side steps or not?
I’m finding mixed info.
Anyone running both?
Crew Cab with OE fender flares.
So, I didn’t realize they had HD and non-HD flaps.
Personally, I went with Dura-Flaps. They do far more than molded flap for gravel and dirt. Kinda pricey but they work. Look nice too. No drill.
I have used conveyor belting, but splurged on these this time. Liked the custom sizing. Every molded flap I have every had has either not done much for protection, or cracked, broken. This truck doesn't see much off road, use the others for that. They only have truck rear flaps(on dually flatbed), or none, either by choice or accident.I had them on my 05. One vibrated loose, and then I wasn’t any more impressed with them than other flaps.
I also didn’t like their firmness when they would hit sticks, rocks, etc.
I can tell you Duraflaps fit great and they don't vibrate loose.
I believe the real difference is "molded plastic" vs "thick rubber". I live on a dirt road and these are perfect. IMHO.
