I have the Mopar hard tonneau cover (1 pc). I like it. When installed and adjusted correctly, I get no water in the bed at all, even when driving in a really hard rain or storm. I have had the Mopar cover on all three of my trucks: 01 1500, 04 2500, 06 2500. I liked the design of the 01 the best because it seemed to fit very well. The thing with the Mopar cover on the later models is that they are a PITA to get lined up correctly. When they are installed, you have to make sure that the cover is straight on the bed and that the bumper stops will not allow the cover to come in contact with the bed sides or tailgate. Temperature changes allow the cover to flex, so you have to keep an eye on it to verify adjustment initially. On my 04, the cover was never straight or totally tight from day 1. The cover would "walk" to the side and start touching the top sides of the bed causing a little bit of paint damage. My 06, the stops were not adjusted correctly and I have a big paint gouge in the right rear corner of the bed which I have to have the dealer fix since they installed the cover and performed the original 500 mile adjustments. Other than that, I like them. I let them go with the truck when I trade it in and get a new one each time. The company that makes these covers builds to order, so it may take a week to get one in.

Thanks for the reply! I posted this right before I left the house in a rush.

I really was curious about the soft-tonneau cover!
