Street legal Drags at Fontana tomorrow March 7th.

how to find out about events

Diesel truck drag racing (all truck class), Dyno and 4x4 off road poker run.
This is predominantly a car show (with racing) but there’s also fun stuff for Diesel Heads too.
I know there’s got to be more Diesel Heads that are car freaks too out there, anyone interested?

Because the diesel vendors did not elect to participate this year, MATS is taking a year off from the dyno event. From attending prior meets, I can say that there should be a lot of fine race cars and show cars there.

Hey Joe,
Are you going to be there, is MATS Mid-America Trucking Show, they should still have a dyno right?

And I did see truck racing on the schedule.

I would go just for the cars personally but just seeing if anyone else here is going?

I was there too, on Saturday night went to the Cannery and saw the concert, checked out the cars that were parked along the backstreet, seen a white Diesel dodge with BIG POWER DIESEL stickers on it, possibly Tom from Ventura area, Im there every year :)

JoeLee...

Talked with one of my racing buddies from Utah by the fence there last night, siad car count was half of what it was last year and only 3 cars out of 27 sold at the auction. His only got to 17. 5k then stopped, he was hoping for 25. Weather bit the big weenie too, especially today.

I had a great time there, I think I'm hooked. I didn't run my truck 'cause I haven't got it dialed in yet so I didn't see the point of running to get a lower ET due to the altitude. I did however go on the off road poker run and had a blast, my truck had to work a lot harder than the Jeep Rubicon that was leading the excursion but I did go up everything it did. I even out climbed two Powerwagons, one a '69 the other a 3rd gen. It was awesome cresting the hill with tires spinning and everyone cheering me, I still get a good chuckle every once in a while thinking about it.

I talked to him, that was Colton and he is from Ventura.

Cool looking rig! Nice to see someone still going after it. I'd definitely go water to air in that application though... no real time for airflow to work.

Sure looks like Joe Donnelly in the red hat about falling over the tow strap in the last pic. LOL

Did anyone see how John Robinson in that funny car ran. I talked them Thursday on there way to vegas and he had blown the powerglide transmission the night before.
