now that I have gotten used to my gray canvas work truck looking seats that stain like no ones business, and my stupid front seat floor console that collects dust and debris when all I really wanted was the flip down cup holder and carpet over the hump, so if someone rides in the middle seat they don't have to put their feet on top of that. I gave my truck a through interior cleaning today and noticed that the gray plastic that is in most places inside has tons of scratches in it that look horrible. the slightest touch of something leaves a guage that can't be covered up or even somewhat dimished with products like armor all, anyone else notice this??

Problems.

You might want to speak to my neighbor with the 6. 0 Ford with the missaligned bed, squeaky interior and frontend that eats tires after numerous alignments. His BIL bought an '06 CTD and is thrilled. My 6. 0 neighbor is trading in the Ford. I bought seat covers in anticipation of the stain factor. These things are trucks. Even without the floor console, the shifter on all prior trucks presented a challenge to all normally endowed middle seat passengers.

C. Cowboy, you are right about the plastic showing scratches like a sore thumb. I've got some on mine I'd like to diminish.

Yeah, same here. Scratches all over the plastic, some kindof deep. I'm always very careful about keeping the leather (vinyl) seats clean, but somehow there are already a half dozen spots that won't come out. And the middle seat is practically impracticle with the 6-speed. I have had passengers sit there, but cleaning mud/dirt/grime out of the cup holders isn't very fun after awhile. Oh well, it's a truck... --Eric

I wish someone would design a nice center console to replace the front center seat. Maybe down-line that will find it's way into the aftermarket stuff. The seat materials DO have a lot to be desired, actually so do the seats, they could have a little more padding. I noticed on long trips the butt meter is indicating a slight case of rigamortice settin in. It's nice to have fuel capacity to go a goodly distance, but the butt still complains enough to make you have to stop and do a little walk around. I'm going to go to leather and have it installed by an upholstery shop so I can get some padding added. I have yet to scratch up the plastic interior but keeping the cupholders clean is a pain.

Mega Cab with seat covers and pull down cup holders

I installed H2o proof seat covers from Cabela's. I also got rid of the floor console.

Not only the cup holder In the way I find the seats very hard to sit on more than a few miles. My 94 was great I miss it for long trips. I hope some one has an idea what to put over the seat to make them more comfortable.

Marathon seat covers

Marathon Seat covers makes a great product. Custom to your truck and better than Cabelos or other knockoff's

I installed Marathon's on mine. They have a quilted design which offers 1/2" additional padding. The power pedals combined with power seats work great for me. Much more supportive than my '99
