Hello all, finally fixed my 97's transmission issues by installing the "dashboard tps". Currently have my 99 down with another transmission issue. It is a 99 3500, has a DTT valve body and controller. The issue is this, the transmission is not shifting properly. It feels like it is slipping at times and at other times shifts are delayed or do not happen at all. On my scanner there were codes 0753 and I believe 1765. One for the 3-4 solenoid and the other for a trans relay circut. Thus far I have replaced the gov solenoid, sensor and the 3-4/tcc solenoid set. Checking data with the scan tool the gov pressure voltage does not change so the desired pressure stays at 0. I tapped into the wire that provides the signal to the computer with my fluke meter and the voltage signal is there and changes properly, the computer just does not acknowledge it. I have chased the circuits and grounds. Also have replaced the computer, no difference in shifting or gov voltage reading (actually made it worse). Also after clearing the codes the 3-4 one returns, the trans relay one has yet to return. The 5v reference is there and all other sensors are reading properly.
I apologize for the lengthy post, however do not want to leave anything out that might be of importance. Thanks for any help/suggestions.
