More boost????

What do you all think, does more boost, within reason, say 35 vs. 28 help lower egts?????????????

What boost are you getting now?



I spike at 44 or so and it will hold 33-34.

Yeah, that's about what I get but a buddy of mine has the TST and they had him disconnect the boost hose coming from the turbo to the wastegate and plug it then he ran a tube via a boost bot from the intake under the engine and hooked it to the wastegate, but in this line is a little elbow that controls when the wastegate opens. Before the TST he was running about the same boost as me but now about 30 is all he is getting, his is also a 600, he tried not running the line but experienced major turbo bark, his is an auto same as mine, when the transmission shifts quick like the autos do the boost really drops fast. He may play with the adjustment on the elbow to try and run a little more boost but not as much as before, we think this may help the egt issue.

yall's trucks r putting out mid 30's on boost?? the highest I have ever seen on mine is a spike at 32 then held steady at 25... Ive looked for possible boost leaks but didnt find any.
