All we need to do now is get more laws on the books banning and restricting bulldozers:rolleyes:

I wasn't able to watch the video on the news page, but I was able to hear the audio from it.

There is an eye witness giving the news channel a play by play over his cell phone. He says the driver of the dozer has welded armor plating all over the dozer !! He says there are little fold down flaps for the driver to shoot out of !! The driver is in the process of destroying several buildings in town, as the police try to stop him using other heavy equipment and high powered rifles !!

Holy Cow, somebody must be SERIOUSLY upset !!!

Does anyone remember when that crazy guy stole the military tank and went on a rampage ?

Jeff

Yeah, that tank episode was in So. Cal, in San Diego I think. That guy was shot by police eventually, after he tore off a track trying to cross over the Freeway Divider.

Friday was definitely an interesting day... .

I live real close to Granby, and knew this guy. Heck, I had sat in that bulldozer about a year ago. It's actually an older Komatsu. Politics in these small towns can get kinda heated every now and then... .

Matt

What was the guy's big beef with the city?

I can definitely understand getting frustrated with the petty tyrants who seem to occupy more and more Government jobs, but he went way over the edge!

Long story, but it's essentially over zoning changes that affected his business. Marv began protesting the right way (petitions, etc... ) but his actions/findings were apparently ignored by the town officials. I guess he decided to make sure he got his point across.

Matt

Matt- We were all watching it here down the road from you. It was a tragic end. And, unfortunatly many folks in the bar last Friday were watching the devistation as a form of entertainment. It certainly was the main topic of conversation.

I am in the construction/ architecture field and dealing with town zoning and regs can be frustrating. Tragic also is the loss of someone with much talent and skill.
