I don't believe none of us are surprised about the sick Oh, 6. 0 and the 6. 4 PowerJokes. Have you heard anything about the new 6. 7 diesel built by Furd?
I have not heard or read a word except for TDR member Wingate's company service truck. He has reported his F-550 does not have any power and does not come even anywhere close to Furd's phony fuel economy numbers. He has already reported lots of CELs and maybe reflashes, I'm not certain of the details.
You and I know a V8 diesel with anyone's nameplate, claimed horsepower and torque, or claimed fuel economy is still a lousy choice. Diesel working motors are inline six cylinders.
I agree, Cat, Cummins, Mack and Detroit (4 stroke) all failed as V/8 diesel power units. However, in all fairness, the 2 stroke Detroit/GM V/8 diesel was a success in it's day.
