OR, WA Coast... nice sandy beach...

My house was broken into tonight

I posted in the other thread on the great job the Kern County Sheriffs Office did in the lovers lane kidnapping out here in Kommiefornication. Not to mention what were 16 year old girls doing out at one AM. Great Job Guys

Be that as it may...

Sometimes traffic Cops are not nice, i. e. rude. If you are nice to them they will go away eventually, and if you're really nice, they will apologize for being rude.

Way back when...

As a tow truck driver I dealt with police on an almost daily basis and on this particular night I was called to remove an illegally parked car from private property by the managers of the apartment complex on Century Blvd at Prairie. I no sooner got the car on the hooks when the owner and three friends showed up. It couldn't have been more than a minute before there were 30 (or more) people all around the rig. The talk was all how I was stealing this guys car, getting real ugly real fast. The owner said he was going to kill me. I said he could have his car back, opened the door, leaned in and grabbed the mike which was next the PTO control:

'169'

'169'

'169 10-33 10729 Century, I am surrounded'

'169 10-4'

This was whispered right before I pulled the PTO control and told everybody I was going to lower the car.

The crowd had swelled even more, they were going to take care of this whitey takin' the brother's car.

I was 19 at the time.

Try to imagine my relief / elation when three cars of Inglewood's Finest rolled in that P-lot with some of them on foot running behind open car doors. Baby I got to tell you, I was going to live!!

I told one of the COPS, 'and this guy said he was going to kill me. '

Later I went to see my AAA dispatcher and he told me how he dialed the PD and told them one of his guys was surrounded. I he'd a been taking a leak when I called I would have been in deep doo doo.

After the cop let these guys go I got a call to come to the yard they wanted to bail their car out. Yeah right! Tell 'em to come back in the morning when the office opens.

As an institution, of course the police are going down hill, along with everything else. Look at the average high school grad.
