i need more fuel and can't seem to find anyone who makes a replacement tank or auxilary tank for the shortbed 2500..... i have a 33+- tank now i have a cabover camper so i cant do an in bed tank does dodge make a bigger tank that maybe came in a different truck or am i just s. o. l. thanks in advance. .

someone gotta make something... ... . the tank i have will not work for long baja trips. the fuel down there is full of water and hard to find on holidays. oh well i guess i'll just have to jerry can it on my roof rack

My ideas were already mentioned. I think the aux tank that transfer flow has will hold 40 gallons. That and the fuel vent kit will give you 77 total. If you are carrying a camper you can tie it on up top. Getting it up there will be the trick. Maybe you can find a tire carrier that will bolt to the back of the camper.

Aw heck, put on a 5" exhaust that sticks out the side right under the passenger's door. Then you've got room to put another factory tank between the driveshaft and the right frame rail where the muffler used to be. :D

I've had good luck with the Diesel at Pemex stations along the toll roads. I think they have a higher turnover so there's not so much water. I usually top off at Ensenada an have had no problems with the fuel. That said I carry 10 five gallon cans, about 8 bucks a pop at wally world. Not as nice as an aux tank but a heck of alot cheaper.

Sorry to get off topic but how are the roads traveling down the Baja and mainland these days? I will probably be driving to Los Mochis this fall but it's been awhile since I traveled in Mexico.
