More injector knock....

@ 3000 miles my truck developed an occasional stumble at idle..... no change in engine noise, still quiet as when it was new but the truck just shook ( cure was to turn engine off and restart ), Now at 7300 miles and filling with fuel at a station I have never used before I have that very annoying tick,tick,tick... loud enough that my wife asked what was wrong with are Mega dollar truck ! When the ping started my mileage went up by 2 mpg and performance got worse..... I have added 2 quarts of PS/S with very little difference, changed fuel filter, I have run 2 other tanks of fuel through it. Ping is still there, performance seems to be back,stumbles occasionally... ... and the dealer just gave me that weird look!

Injectors, pump... ... . what is it ?

I have something very similar with my '05. Started at about 35,000 on the clock and is only when I am giving slight pedal effort to accelerate. I think my issue is injectors although I do not have a knock. Mine sounds like valve noise. I have no miss or anything but a tick that you can hear at certain times. I am currently in the process of finding better injectors that can take more of a beating.
