Took the truck in for my last straw warranty items.

Tell the dealer it vibrates at 65-70 MPH, His tech says they cannot duplicate. (hose TSB)

Tell the dealer it shudders when taking off while towing, tech again says cannot duplicate. (wedge needed)

Tell the dealer the clutch linkage feels like it's binding (playing dumb here), he says tech cannot duplicate.

Tell the dealer it is leaking oil from VC they say, they just lost their Diesel mechanic and I should go to Mullen Motors(45 miles away)... . Hmmmmm very good Idea guys, should have bought it there.

Tell the dealer it has a busted Alt mount... WOW the tech found that one. Of course they have to order it in.

Tell the dealer rearend is noisy. Dealer says we'll have to tear it down. No mention of when they are going to do it.

I never mentioned the flashes that were available. Most say they put them in regardless.

When looking at my reciept, I see no mention of a flash or anything.

My truck is a very early 03 model.

Is this just typical service?? I only bought here because the salesman has always taken good care of us.

He left this job 2 weeks before we took the truck in.

There is now way a dealer is that bad. I have not heard anyone else haveing trouble with a dealership. You probley were rude or had velcro on your fuse box. :-laf Welcome to the life of dealerships.

Just wondering, Do all TSB's have to be done before warranty runs out?

KO

As I understand it, if they do the TSB prior to the warranty ending it's free. If the warranty is up, you must pay for the TSB.

If I'm wrong about that please someone correct me.

My drivetrain is bone stock. I ought to try putting velco on the fuse box just to see what kind of reaction I can get.

Did you mention what TSB's there were. No one that intialy drove my truck felt the powersteering hose vibration that also ouccurs at 1950 rpm in neautral etc. If a tech is not very familier with this product this will happen. I use to have to lead a new one to look up tsb's or get them to take a test drive with owner etc. The TSB on the wedge has to be checked with truck loaded with the load it occurs in etc. Try calling the service manager and going over problems. It also sounds like he's hurting for quaified techs which does happen.
