Besides obvious things like accelerating and driving slower what can be done to improve my mileage? At 60 mph on the highway I get a little over 20 mpg and wondered if it could be increased maybe 10% to 22 mpg.

1990(140,000 miles), 3. 54 gears, W250 5spd(replaced on guarantee), new head gasket at 98,000 miles, Reunel winch bumper, extra front and rear leaves, K&M air filter, Stanadyne fuel filter and Performance Formula Fuel Conditioner, Borgeson steering assembly and modified steering box to stiffen the steering, balanced drive shafts fore and aft, passenger-side rubber mat loose to mop up the water that leaks into the cab, CB and 2 meters(KB7VEJ), above the cab aluminum canopy with kayak/canoe rack. It’s a keeper.

Dale I would consider replacing the stock exhaust system with a manderl bent one. Don't know if it will get that extra 10 percent but it will reduce the exhaust back pressure and let the turbo spin up quicker.

turn the pump up slightly, that doesan't make sence really to pore more fuel to it, but it worked for me. Dodge detures the cummins so badly because of the strain on the tranney. Turn pumpp up slightly, you will get better mileage and more power, all at once.
