Toyo Tires® Announces New Sizes of Their
Popular All Terrain and Mud Terrain Products
CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA -- Toyo Tires® announces new sizes of both their Open Country A/T™ and Open Country M/T™ light truck and SUV radials. The Open Country line of tires provides the best combination of durability, traction and driving comfort. Both the A/T and M/T products are designed using Toyo’s DSOC II™ computer technology resulting in a more uniform product optimized for its intended environment.
New Open Country A/T™ sizes include:
· 16-inch: P235/75R16 106T and LT305/70R16 124Q
· 17-inch: LT265/70R17 121S (Load Range E), P245/65R17 105T and a flotation size LT325/70R17 122R
· 20-inch: P275/60R20 114T and 305/50R20 120T
New Open Country M/T™ specialty sizes include:
· 20-inch: 35X12. 50R20 121Q and 37X13. 50R20 127Q
· 22-inch: 37X13. 50R22 123Q
The Open Country A/T™ is an excellent M & S rated tire with a broad range of fitments and load ratings, either to replace OE tires on standard rims, or by adding a special appearance to your vehicle with flotation sizes up to 37-inches in diameter. The more aggressive Open Country M/T™ flotation tire has proven itself in the most challenging environments including winning unlimited class rock crawling competition. The Open Country M/T™ is a remarkably quiet tire. Excessive tread noise is minimized through the use of CASPAN™ (Computer-Aided Simulator for Pattern Noise), while STACS™ (Structural Analysis Computer Software) is used to simulate tire response to a variety of road surfaces. The result is optimized braking, steering and acceleration.
