more noise

Ok, I just installed my Flux1's last night, and had 4 of the 6 completely rebuilt. I was really hoping that my rattle would go away, but it hasn't. The knock from the injector has gone away, but the rattle sound is still as loud as ever. This is with the smary on the stock tune. I don't have any means yet to test fuel pressure, but what else should I look for. The noise is driving me crazy. It happens at light to medium throttle pressure, the heavier I go, the sounds seems to go away at or near full throttle. Any help would be awesome!

Try the smarty tune for aftermarket injectors, it has less timing and should get rid of the rattle. The noise at lite throttle and load is from excessive timing

The SMARTY is currently un-installed, so its not a timing issue, unless the truck has mechanically advanced timing? The truck made the same noise on stock injectors as it does the new ones.

Aftermarket Injectors do advance the timing some.

I would try the smarty program for aftermarket injectors

just to rule out timing.

If the sound is more of a ticking you could also check all brackets/hold downs for the metal fuel lines on the motor.

I have heard about these being loose and making a ticking noise.

Did you do the tone ring mod or install a roktec sensor?

They will advance your timing and could be the problem.

The rattle at lite load/throttle really does sound like your describing timing rattle to me

Wht is it everyone is having knocking noises appear after installing injectors lately on these newer style trucks???
