Off Roading Need Colorado Jeeping Recommendation

I"d contact my congressperson but she's so liberal and in no danger of losing an election its pointless. Sure hope this dies a swift death.

My wife and I do a lot of Honda atv riding. We have a big trip planned to Harlan Ky. real soon.

This ban will really hit home.

It's interesting that a dumbocrap from NY is putting forth a bill to save the Rockies. You'd think that if it was an issue, a politician from a Rocky Mountains state would have done it. New sign: "Welcome to your public lands. Please do not touch. "

Thats so the idiots from the rockies who actually want it can point the finger and say plausible deniability. NY which I believe has the 1st or 2nd highest ATV registration per capita also has no State owned riding areas dut to the vast tree hugger over poulation.

Notice what went on this last weekend in the Grand Stair case Monument? The law took pics of the riders, machines, and license plates. But they were on an established route used back in the 1800's, which to there knowledge was legal. No off road riding was done.

This has been a piece of crap since BC had it set aside. If you want to see it you walk or ride a hay burner. I imagine you would need to pick up after the horse and pack it out with you.

We just lost Tellico Plains in North Carolina till at least 2011, the feds have over stepped their bounds with regard to all the closures.

They soon forget that we are the ones that provide the funding to keep these places open.

In the end we have to do the same as we are doing for the firearm rights, get out, get organized and make a difference with coordinated numbers making change for the good.

Funny, you should mention "pick it up and carry it with you". In the wilderness areas, here in Colorado, there are strict guidelines on what kind of feed is acceptable when "horsing around" in the wilderness areas. No feed with weed seeds or non-native grasses!!! Next thing you know, we will all have to pack in a "Porta Potty" and pack out all the waste, instead of burying it:mad:. GregH
