More power from water/meth?

I put a snow stage 3 system on my truck and only got about 30 hp from it. I have both the 625 nozzles in and the pump all the way up. Its the 150psi pump. Whats the deal here? It runs and sucks the tank down pretty good. I ran about a 40meth and 60water ratio. Should I do more meth? Or do I need more fuel up top to get it to run right? I dunno. Just feeling like the money wasnt well spent this time.



Oh, this was on 17. 5* of timing. Do I need more? If I go to WOT in 3rd at high rpms it pops and bangs and puffs white.

If it is poping at top end u need more timing. The general rule for performance is for every 1000 rpm's u need 10 deg of timing. That is if your head has been oring'd. But All that timing does have its down fall some times. Like cold weather. Later Justin

30+ degrees of timing will suck on the street... ... ... . absolutely no bottom end.

I am running 40 deg of timing. I drive it not all the time but some times on the street. I seem not to laggy. It usly will not come in till I hit 2000 rpms. But this cold weather I need to de tune it it just smokes all the time.

You don't need to run high timing for more power with water meth or to make big power. It's no like I'm just spewing as I've been over 700 hp since 03' and I've never run more than 24 degrees for an amount of time.

I under stand.

The only reason I am running that high of timing it for the high rpms. Before I was running 24 deg and if I would rev above 3000 it would pop. Now it dont, But I only see high rpm when I sled pull. But I am still learning something new every day on these thing. I am not running water meth rite now, But I was thinking of it this summer. Later Justin
