More proof of bad 04.5 injectors

For those of you that read about the vandalism (pouring dirty water into my fuel tank) of my truck and the repair costs I make another point about crappy mileage and the injectors. My truck had 17,000 miles on it when it went into the shop for the repairs which included the new injectors. My mileage before was 12. 8 around town, 14. 7 at 70 and 14. 2 at 80. After the fuel system was completely replaced I was getting 14 around town and after a 500 mile trip last weekend I got 15. 8 at 80 and 17. 0 at 70. I have driven the 500 mile route many times and am very happy wiyh the new numbers, now I need to order the TST box and see if I get an increase like I did on my 2003.
