Making my splitter pipe. It's not really a "Y" nor a "T" The truck dealer wanted $75. 00 for a true "Y" pipe. I made my own

This is a splitter box. Five inch square with 5" to 6" adapter.



The bottom picture is a trial fit. Truck belongs to local member JGundrum (John).



I'll post more pics when I get the stacks fitted and installed.

I just took John's truck for a drive... ... ... ... ... . through town... ... ... . on a Friday night, with the fresh (6 inch) stacks installed. :--) :--) :--) :--)



HOLY BAT SMOKE Bat Man!!



I have never seen anything smoke like that. The twin six-inch solar eclipe cloud PERFECTLY blocks out all trailing headlamps. 25mph/4th gear/foot to floor/Greenleaf Pump... ... ... ... ... ..... :-laf :-laf :-laf



Ohhhhh... ... ... what-a-night.



I'll post pics of stacks when I load them. The box sets on angle iron legs to which engine mounts are fastened to. No melted bed-liner. At least not yet.

here's my stack x-over. . its self draining! no more soot showers... . and for sale as well. . mitres on it now.

I need to get busy and load the latest pictures so I can post them. I have made some (slight) progress on my splitter pipe.



I like that cross over box. John and I decided I would attempt the fabrication of our (my) own. So far so good.



On a lighter note;

I slid my splitter pipe (for the 92 model) over top of the side exhaust on the 90 to perform a "smoke flow equalization test". The wife worked the throttle and I observed the "OPACITY" comming forth from each exahust stack. I believe she had more fun than I did.

Trial Fit

My splitter pipe. I'm setting the pipe up to cut the hole in the bed. My stacks will be set 13 inches apart. Five inch diameter.

That's a SWEET setup, did you build that yourself?

No i didn't build this one, it's a kit that i sale and install. Very happy with the quality and fit. Thanks!

That's a good looking kit. I couldn't use a "Y" pipe cause I want my stacks close together.
