I checked my TPS this weekend when I was at the shop changing the fuel filter. It read 0 volts at idle and 0 volts at wide open throttle. It jumped all over the scale during "acceleration". I am assuming it is junk. Anyway, does the TPS have anything to do with the cruise control? The cruise control died about the same time the truck started shifting in and out of overdrive. And by the way, I found out how much fun it is to get a Dodge truck with a 16' stock trailer stuck in a 3 foot deep snow drift in a horse pasture. Only took an hour to shovel it out(Whoops!!! needed more speed or something and should not have tried turning).
