Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) More transmission questions

I have a ATS stage IV 47RE. What pressures should I see? It shifts pretty hard, would lowering pressure smooth it out? If so, how do I do it?

pressure is to hold the converter from slipping it is set high for that reason

your ATS is a performance trans built to hold a lot of HP and TQ

i think the line pressure is around 160psi, stock is around 80psi

when you are making tons of TQ you need lots of line pressure to keep it from slipping
