What was the most expensive car/truck you beat on the street or track race?



I had a Porsche Carrera 4S that didn't wanna play. I know little about porches so I wasn't sure if it was the 2003 300hp version (mid 13's) of the 2007 355hp version (high 12's) (googling for these numbers, same body style). I couldn't get the guy to run, but it sure would of been cool to hang with an $81,000 "super car". Tho it's odd for a diesel truck and a Porsche to race, I'm sure he didn't wanna take any chances looking bad cuz if I didn't have something to compete, why would I try? At least that's my thinking.



ohh well, I'm sure I'll find another one later this summer.

I ran a guy(Daddy's boy)in his father SC 2006 Lexus,from about 3rd gear to 90/100MPH climbing a slight grade. The schoolboy was tailgating me and i sped up just to give him enough room to pass the car beside him so he could pull up beside me---he gave me the look and the race was on---bulldog in the front seat riding shotgun---head out the window /ears flapping and BULLSNOT/DROOL on the side of my ride. I pulled away 3-4 lengths,then backed out once i was nearing the 100MPH mark. If i could of went further he surely would of kick my *****,those lexus's can glide pretty sweet IMHO but i gave a good run for a 8000lbs truck. At the light later on i let him pass me and got the thumbs up---cool. DW

Only when the road bends... Should they wanna push in a straight line, they better not be stock, or be a real 911 turbo or GT 2 or 3 or in other words, $180,000.



If I was ina Z06 C6, I'm sure he would of ran, and TOTALY lost.

My brother has a modified cayenne turbo (intake, exhaust, and programing) and I finally beat him the other night. We have raced before but not since I changed to a hotrod vp-44 and a smarty instead of the old vanaaken box. It was late at night and we got to a red light side by side. I knew he had a full load of people in his cayenne so not only would I have an edge but I also knew there would be quite a few surprised looks coming from his car if my old rusty pickup left him in the dust. When the light went green I got a perfect 20psi launch. I got about 2 car lengths on him by the time we crossed the intersection and he did not gain an inch up to about 75. ! Since I am the younger brother this was an especially sweet victory!! Oo.

The cayenne turbo isn't all that fast for a 450hp (stock) 5200# SUV. Plus modified, maybe 500 flywheel hp). and a full load of people could be near 900# more if each he had 5 180# persons.



Stock, one driver according to a time slip on dragtimes.com for a 2006 cayenne turbo is a 13. 5 at 107. for $90,000...



In one day, I got cut off TWICE by a S and a turbo cayeene. Both times I was loaded with crap in the back of the truck. At the same entrance ramp no less. Boy what I would of given to be unloaded

I pulled up next to a BMW Z8 (James Bond car) pretty rare, I had just dropped in the Six Gun with speed loader so I figured what the hell, I gave the guy the look and he seemed willing. The light turned green and I was expecting to be thoroughly beat by the 150K supercar but lo and behold I look in the rearview and there he is in a cloud of my exhaust smoke trying to catch me, he pretty much quit when we were close to 70mph but I had close to three car lengths on him. I am not sure about the specs on a Z8 but I was actually shocked that I spanked him, I kind of thought he wasn't really trying but he was doing close to 70 on a surface street. I did feel a little bad about the funnel of smoke he had to drive into since the Z8 is a convertible, but oh well, good times.

I don't think he was really racing, or had much of a clue. that Z8 7 years ago should of run a high 12. you banks powered truck should be no faster then mid 14.

My best kill was a Benz ML55 AMG. I had him by half a truck length up to 110. That was when I still had my built 7. 3. The look on his face was priceless :--) .

Now that is just cool I had a guy in a CLK 320 mouthing "What the Heck (well, not heck... )" one time.



One kid in a late 90's carrea was upset that I walked him once and kept showing me how his car is 5 feet shorter then my truck in traffic. . (gggrrr).



My dad still doesn't believe the power. . Next trip back to Michigan this summer he'll get a dose of soot on their brand spanking new BMW 325 convertible. He was bragging about doing 125mph on the autobahn this past fall So this should be fun on the Detroit highways

The Banks does not make thick black clouds of smoke, when I get on it it leaves more of a gray cloud that is not really blinding, I have a catalytic convertor on still.
