I've posted this before, but it's worth a repeat. It's located on a private section of a forest service road going to the Holy Cross Wilderness area in Colorado.
i don't get it! i live in south texas and have seen signs like this all my life. is there something wrong w/this sign? looks like all the words are spelled correctly etc etc. oh wait, i get it. they forgot to advertise thier specials on beef jerky. those dummys!
First: East Grand Forks, Minnesota. The yellow diamond shaped sign was near a ag product processing plant. All it said was "Fog". It was a crystal crear day. The best part is that it was far enough off the road so that if there had been fog, you could not have read it.
Second: Middle of nowhere Utah. I am driving into a small town and someone has cut in half a sheet of plywood and painted it white. On the 4'x4' sign is stenciled in red letters: "Chainsaw Bears Ahead" I didn't know what to do - thought about turning around. Were they inviting me to take part in some ritual? or had the wildlife began to rebel? Either way, I wanted no part of it. Eventually I saw that they sold chainsaw art in the shape of bears. Had me going for a while.
