Last weekend I went to my local gun store that specializes in hunting and [had] a good inventory pre covid on reloading supplies and equipment. As usual, I go to the gun case to see what’s available and what a surprise. One would have to be a California resident to understand. In the case was a S&W 686 4” .357 Performance Center revolver. I asked to see it and went through the process and for an, almost custom build, revolver, I said sold…write me up. I told him to lock it up and I’d be back in an hour with my wife to do the DROS. He looked at me a little funny… I told him, “This is my wifes Mother’s Day gift.” He shook his head a little and went onto comment on how so many women have become gun owners. The outdoor range that we belong to have a lot of women shooters, and I think that’s a good thing.
