Just curious if any of you have heard of these exhausts, and if they are worth buying. Im thinking of buying the 409 st. 5 inch. The reason im asking is because they are under 500$ for a turbo back system, the cheapest ive seen.

Treat yourself to a Banks 4" turbo back. i heard the Motoblue is a Chinese P. O. S. I paid $518 for a Banks thru 4 wheel parts .com I got the single system. It is still fairly quiet with a deep tone and not intrusive into the cab. It DOES drone when towing though, even if they say it doesn't!!!!! I think they all do! It is a full diameter full 4 inch(watch other makers for constricted muffler pipe) ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!! I held the muffler up and you can see the full 4" bore straight thru! Excellent workmanship and easy install except for getting to the turbo band clamp, but that is Dodge's fault. Excellent fit!

The thing is i already have a 4 inch. But I want to upgrade to a 5. The add was in diesel power magazine. Is a 5 inch worth purchasing over a 4? Will it even help out with my egt's. Im on a stock charger with a tst box, and i get warm really fast towing my toy hauler. An exhaust is cheaper than a turbo. I just need about a 100 degr. cooler right now, till i can afford a SPS TURBO.

Check this thread out. . I saw 5 inch without muffler for 350 bucks... . I like my five inch. . Wes

I bought a Moto Blue 5" 2 years ago and have been very happy with it. It is a Flo Pro and they are made in the USA. The quality was excellant and it fit perfect. It's 14 ga. as well so it is thicker or as thick as some of the "higher ends" on the market. I would buy it again for sure.

There are several less expensive alternatives to the big name exhaust companies. Do some checking and you'll probably be very pleased at what you'll find.

5" is not worth it over 4" unless your going real big-time horsepower. I doubt that you would see any decrease in egts with your current set up, and probably experience decreased performance.

I put a Flo-Pro turbo back dual exhaust on when my '05 truck had 12k on it.

It is louder than stock. Removing the Cat helps reduce EGT. When installed

the left tail pipe will interfere with the rear brake line. You can hold the brake

line out of the way with nylon tie wraps.

The only other modification I have is a Diablosport power puck stacked with

their predator downloader. With this combination I get about 18MPG if I keep

it under 65MPH.

I have this exhaust on my truck. And I really like it. I bought mine with the intake from rpmoutlet.com for $500. It was sopost to be the 4 inch but I got 5.

Can't vouch for the Dodge version but a friend of mine has this on his pOOper dOOty and the one thing I don't like about it is the 2 piece tail pipe, when you are behind him you can see the clamp where the actual tailpipe mounts to the section that goes over the axle. Kinda cheesy if you ask me. The Dodge version may be different???
