MOTOBLUE 5" EXHAUST??

Curious if anyone is or has run this setup yet... ... ... ... .

FYI you might not like 5 inch on a Dodge, lots of folks complain about drone etc, then again some folks love the volume too so who knows. Just wanted you to be aware there is a possible situation that you might need to avoid. Plus a 4. 0 system will support up to 500 RWHP cfm flow wise too. The newest Dodges can get tp that level but it's pretty strong etc. Lost of members have just replaced the muffler and got a cat test pipe as the stock 2004. 5 + trucks already come with 4. 0 inch systems, the muffler and cat pipe are the restriction etc. If you have questions call.

Mark is correct. I have yet to hear from anyone that has run a 5" system on their truck and not had any drone problems. Im running the MBRP replacement muffler and cat test pipe with a resonator and I love it. Im only running the resonator because I felt under WOT the truck just sounded too "raspy". But under light to medium acceleration the truck sounded awesome. But since the pedal spends most of its time pressed to the floor... I went with the resonator to take the rasp out of the exhaust note. No incab drone with just the MBRP replacment muffler and cat test pipe(no resonator installed). Truck runs way better without the cat and stock muffler, quicker turbo spool and it actually smells like a diesel now. Im sure you could run the 5" system... But plan on running 2 mufflers and a resonator to keep the "in-cab" noise down to a tolerable level... Good luck with whatever you decide.
