Motor home chassis with the 5.9

Does anyone know if / where I can get info on these?

I have a step van that needs a good motor. It also needs the complete chassis changed and if this is possible I am in the market. Local dealers don't know how to get one.

This is the same response I got from dealers!

Someone knows about them, because they are in motor homes.

And step vans are on motor home chassis.

I have not seen any motorhome chasis with the 5. 9. All the ones I have seen use the 8. 3 cummins motor.

A buddy I race with has a 5. 9 in his Santara coach, it is a 36' unit and is a pusher. I believe it is a Coachman or Fleetwood product. (Freightliner chassis) Imagine that, a rompin',stompin,5. 9 right under your bed!! :--)

Might also check with Carriage, I believe they build a small class C on chassis with 5. 9, they are in Millersburg Ind. bg

I saw a class C that I think had the 5. 9- I think it was a "Scotty"

A coworker has a 1992 motorhome with a 5. 9 pusher. I'll ask tomorrow for the particulars.

i don't think are still being made. they used a Ram chassis and had the standard ram cab/front.

there have been several diesel pushers made with the 5. 9. freightliner for sure makes/made a chassis with the 5. 9.
