Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) motor oil cooler?

A member in another thread talked about the motor oil cooler. Is this an option on the 12 valve or a standard item? I haven't looked for it yet but where would I find it? Trying to visualize it.....

All current Cummins engines have an engine oil cooler. In the 5. 9 and 6. 7 it is located in the housing behind the oil filter. Shad
