Does anyone know how the rubber moulding at the top of the door comes off? There seems to be one that seals for air and one for water. The one for water on my 94 is torn and seems to have let the carpet get soaked. I don't see how that could have let the water in but I don't see any other place. I just got the truck back from a transmission rebuild , 2 weeks, and the truck was filthy. Oily hand prints all over so I assume if they don't care enough to keep my truck clean then it is possible the door was left open during a rain storm. We've had some. Still the moulding needs replacing and I don't see how it comes off.

Anybody know?

Are you sure watter isn't getting through the 3rd brake light gasket on the roof?

Many members (as well as a dodge service bulletin) have reported water getting in this way. Also earlier this summer I found my 3rd brake gasket rotted. I replaced it and no longer have wet carpet.
