Just received my new TST box w/ remote. The remote has read-outs for egt's, oil, and boost. For those of you with this set-up how/where have you mounted your remote?? Any ideas appreciated. TIA

I mounted mine...

I mounted my TST box w/ cable ties just below the hood release. I pulled the lower dash pan out at top and routed remote cable behind it. My remote is sits on the guage cluster clear plastic on the far right. I did not attach the remote to the clear plastic; it just sits there. Visible, easy to adjust and reach.

FYI: using the adhesive backing will not stay attached in heat (experience).

wiredawg,

Sounds like a pretty custom mounting job ya did there :D. How do you like your TST? Anyways, I was thinking of trying to make a mounting plate where the ashtray goes, and mounting the remote there. Unless there's some sort of mount to put it up on the a-pillar. Thats where I had my Banks gauges, and have kinda gotten use to looking there for the pyro, boost, transmission temp. . I've seen some pretty neat looking mounting jobs for different accessories on this site, just nothing for the TST remote yet.

I mounted my TST box right under the cubby space above the center island. I used the 3m double sided tape( the heavy duty body shop type) and it is yet to fail after over 2 years now. For the remote ( mine doesn't have the gauges, just the power up readout) I placed it in the same spot as Wiredawg. It makes for easy on the fly adjustments there :D
