I was wonder were you guys are mounting your DTT Shift Enhancer. Pictures would be great. Also, does it just plug into a harness, or do your have to cut and slice wires.

Thanks,

Marty

It fits perfectly in the dash indentation just to the left of the steering column,

You have to cut one wire in the Trans harness and splice to ends of the enhanser. You will need to tap a 12V switched power source and the handiest is the feed up the steering column.

Pretty easy install for the most part.

Cerberusiam,

Do you know what exactly the Shift Enhanser does? I have one installed in the location you suggested and it works great. Just don't shut the truck off with it in race mode or it'll throw a code.

What code are you getting?

I shut mine off all the time in the race mode and no problems. It should not give you a code.

All the shift enhancer does is advance the throttle valve pressure faster than the APPS says it should. Given everything is working correctly the ECU should not even know its there. You may have to have it reclaibrated for your trans setup or there is a nother glitch some where. Check the code and see what it is saying.

For some reason, (i think it was in the instructions) they said not to leave it in race mode when shutting down. I have not shut it down in race mode so I have thrown no code. Maybe Steven at DTT could enlighten us.

I'll have to remember to ask about that. I need to send mine back in and have programmed for my new trans setup. I generally have to run it in Race mode to get rid of the shuttle when I start removing TQ management. I thinks it needs a tweak or 2.
