I made up a small bracket attached to my Diablo/Predator programmer. I want to screw it down to the top of the dash pad to the right of the steering wheel. Any ideas/suggestions as what type of scew/bolt to use? I don't want this thing to rip out after a few months of feeling the mighty Cummins vibrations...

Any and all are appreciated... :)

That plastic up there is very thin, and I don't think it would take much to rip out any fasteners that you put in it. Perhaps velcro would be a better option?

I don't mind using velcro, I just don't know if it'd be up to the task. The predator is a larger programmer... But the screen size is huge compared to most others... and the real time data is awesome, so I want to be able to watch the LCD screen at that "eye level"...

Another option I thought of would be to use an industrial epoxy glue/cement on the dash, mounting a base to that... probably a nice piece of aluminum tapped for some 1/4-20 hex head bolts, or something like that. This way the mount is sturdy and I could remove the Diablo when needed...

What do you think?

Velcro

You can get 2 large pieces with adhesive on one side, 1 male 1 female. Attach pieces where you want and it will not come off. If you don't like it, remove and clean area with isopropyl rubbing alcohol.
