Competition Mounting Traction Bars to Short box

How are you guys mounting your traction bars to the frame on short box trucks? Drilling holes? Welding?

I have enough tools to make my own so I am not interested in buying anyone elses. I have read through many posts and no one seems to be specific on mounting locations or directions. Any help would be appreciated.

i made mine match the drive shaft angle. just dont make them to long or they want to flex. used 2 inch solid rod with a half inch whole dowm the center. made they about 6 ft long first bent them tring to pull a stump out

Seems to me if you know how build them, you should know how to do the rest. Goes with the territory. Everybody wants a freebee.
