For those of you that have replaced the LP from the top by moving the fuel filter housing to the side.

Do you have to disconnect the line ( out ) on the bottom of the fuel filter ??

I am going to completely remove the LP to filter line so that will not be a problem. But the one on the bottom of the filter is a hard line 90% of the way to the VP. There is only about 2-3 inches of rubber hose in that line. Is there enough flex in that small amount of rubber hose to not have to disconnect the line on the bottom of the filter ??

TIA

Jeff

Jeff, no need to disconnect LP to Filter line on my '01 when doing the LP replacement. 02' should be similar. If you haven't seen the GREAT instructions on this procedure, do a search. I believe it was TOWPRO who posted originally, something like "15 minute LP replacement". Absolutely priceless info on this procedure, took me about 30 mins. in the rain:( Jim G.

Jeff,

Take the 2 mounting bolts outa the filter housing and push it towards the drivers side and you will have plenty of room to work, I found it best to put a knee on the radiator and the other on the battery while my head was on the firewall leaving both hands free to work it ... ... ... ... ... ... not bad at all.

Cheers, Kevin
