Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Everybody beware!!! Avoid movincost.com and Nationwide Trucking like the plaque!!! We used this service to setup trucking for us to move from Greeley, CO to Florence, KY. A truck was suppose to show today according to our contract. Gave 50% deposit upfront ($1300) and NO TRUCK IS HERE!!!
I have been calling movingcost.com all day and most of the time I am sent to voicemail which no one returns. I finally got ahold of someone just a minute ago and she told me no one has signed onto my load yet and they are not sure if they can pick up till the 31st and now I have to pay them more than my contract says!!!! Can you say breach of contract We should have done what we started out to do, rent a moving truck and do it ourselves, somehow we thought this would be less stressful. 
All I can say is if you plan on moving avoid this company like the plaque, they talked a great game when it was time to make the sale but when its time for them to deliver what was paid for they run away with your money!!
Contacting the BBB, can you guys think of anyother governing agency I can contact to get recourse for this?
