Got 17.7 (uncorrected) This trip.
I knew it would suffer, I hammered the crap out of it on the GSP. 85++ mph (wife messed me up....left almost 2 hours late.... )
Drove back last night. All kinds of road construction and buffoonery pretty much the entire way back.

FWIW, running stock tires, stock timing, auto, 300k miles, and odo correct, I recently drove from Elgin, IL to Princeton, WV non-stop, running 73-78 all the way. 631 miles on 31 gallons fuel; about 20.35 MPG.

Dragging a lightly loaded UHaul 6x12 trailer up there in the first place to Ft. McCoy at similar speeds, I got 17.3-17.8 MPG.

Only difference is I put 8 oz. Stanadyne cetane/lube fuel treatment and 8 oz. of pure 2-ethylhexyl nitrate in each tank of fuel; that brings the cetane up to an almost reasonable level.

That's pretty darn good!
I suspect I'm closer to 19`ish more or less corrected for the tires.
If I put 215 injectors back in, and unscrewed the star wheel, I'm pretty sure 20++ wouldnt be a problem.
I'm satisfied.
