My mileage just suddenly dropped by 2 mpg. I havent changed my driving habits or anything else come to that except the fuel filter after my 2nd tankfull of fuel after noticing the drop. The truck has 32000 mls on it. Its an auto with DTT setup & its not slipping.

Can,t think of anything else that might be relavant.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appeciated .

Thanks in advance.

Yah,, I have an idea.

I dropped from 20 MPG to 16 MPG because of an exhaust leak. I also lost alot of low-boost power, also was taking just a second longer to build boost than normal.

Check all the Air intake hoses, tighten the clamps on the rubber boots TIGHT, any boost that leaks out will lower MPG, and bring higher EGT.

Also check the Intake horn, make sure all the bolts are snugged down.

Remember, any leaks in the intake, or exhaust (pre-turbo) can, and or will, lower your MPG.

In my case I had a cracked manifold when I first got the truck, my in town MPG was 9MPG and highway was 14.

Since changing to an ATS manifold, and a straight pipe. I have hit a record high of 25MPG at 65MPH on a "cool" day (about 60-70*F)

These are the tips I have heard from the majority of TDR members when MPG change without driving changes.

I would check all my clamps from turbo to intercooler to intake first as they seem to work loose after awhile.

Also how clean is your air filter?

Or is your lift pump taking a dump?

IAT sensor........

There was a thread a while back about IAT sensors going bad or getting dirty. The reports were lower milage. Easy to check, might want to give that a shot while you got the tools out doing all the above recomendations.
