MPG increase w/600

Drove the new 600 over 1000miles this weekend.

Went to a Diesel event then left to go to another one (I have it bad)



Most of the driving was interestate 80-90mph.



When I first bought the truck I was getting 13-14mpg.

Now I am getting about 15mpg.



Total miles are 3200, mileage keeps increasing!!

Going that fast, I'd say you should be tickled with the mileage you got. I don't see how you guys are able to drive that fast and not get a collection of tickets. Even here in Texas with all the wide open spaces, 80 mph gets you a ticket. More power to ya though...

MPG for 600

Last Monday and Tuesday, I drove 1716 miles pulling empty trailer to Neb. and loaded coming back... My overhead said 8. 4 mpg, and pencil said 8. 5. . I drove over 12 hours no Mon and over 13 hours on Tues... Up one small hill in Panhandle of Texas heading into a 30+ mph wind, had to get in 4th gear to mantain 50 mph. . Punched the overhead and it read 2. 9 mpg..... dv

Nothin my dad just got back from flordia. he left CA tuesday morning in his 03 SO got to St. Augustine turned around and got home 6 days later! 6353 miles,6 days,all alone, no drugs!

sorry for off topic just figured you guys might want to hear this. The dodge also Avg. high 16's in total trip. not bad for towing a car loaded, bed and cab COMPLETELY FULL and averaged 70+ MPH with 4. 10's and 33's.

My mileage hand calculated is at 14. 3 after being at 12-13 till about 500 miles ago. I have 3400 on it now. I stopped in at my local dodge dealer and a mechanic told me that is pretty good, that these trucks have so much emissions programming they won't get better. :{ Then he told me to get a edge box and open the exhaust and intake up and it should go up quite a bit.

I'm waiting on funds to verify it. since i want to bomb anyways i guess only time will tell if it's true.

I was ridding with justin and every time I woke up on the return chip the little meter in the ceiling was going up Yeah we did stop for a few hours here and thier. Mostly to watch other trucks go down the track (sled or drag) Travis

Shoot, I guess I am one of the lucky ones, cause my truck only has 800 miles on it and I get 16mpg with mostly traffic/city driving. I cant wait to see what I get highway.
