My first tank of fuel went 388 mile on 25. 5 gallons for 15. 2 MPG

Then I did a 2000 mile tow trip with my 14K 35ft. 5er.

My next tank without towing I went 400 on 25 gallons for 16 MPG.

Now with only 3000 miles on the truck, my last tank went 226 miles on 13 gallons for 17. 2 MPG.

This is just running around town and back and forth to work. I have not gone anywhere on the freeway to see if that makes a difference or not.

I am happy with a 3500 (weighs 8350 lbs. with 4 people and my 5er hitch) that gets over 17 MPG and I hope to do better as it gets broken in.

3500, HO, 4. 10's stock.

My truck too is getting better mpg as time goes on. Average is 16 in town and 19 on a good day, Hwy running 70 mph. You might not get alot better on Hwy because of your 4:10s and depending on what speed you run. Good luck. :)

I have the trip computer, but don't trust it. My mileage varies from tank to tank. Sometimes I get about 15-16 ACTUAL mpg, other times I may get 21-22 ACTUAL mpg (pencil and paper). It all depends on how hard I gun it. More Smoke = More Fun = Less MPG ;).
