MPG vs. Diesel Supplier - St.Louis MO

ok, I need some one that is in st louis to check and see if this happens to them:





7-12 --- filled up at citgo at HWY 44 & Hwy 141



7-20--- filled up at citgo again at HWY 44 & Hwy 141

yielding 18. 7 MPG



7-29 --- filled up at NEW SHELL STATION at HWY 44 & Hwy 141

again yielding 18. 4 MPG (still citgo fuel)



7-31 --- AFTER 136 MILES, FILLED UP AGAIN AT SHELL (same location) fill-up took 5. 743 gallons



woah! , can that be right? 23. 6 mpg !?!?!?



Can anyone close to fenton MO please get some of this fancy diesel and see if they get the same??



by they way, all the same routes- no A/C used, no towing

And I have a SO/5-spd





could the quality/ cetane rating be that different?



Also, the pump says "Premium Diesel"
