Mstery switch anti-theft

I purchased a 2003 HO dodge with Remote key locks but

no anti-theft option. I would like to install a swith to disable

the motor incase someone broke in and tryed to go off with

the truck. Now I know there are some electronic people out

there that can figure out the wireing scymatics good enough

to wire in a switch to disable the starting of the motor. let's

have some Ideas.

Well I know when I blew the fuse of the wire I tapped into the truck wouldn't start. It was a bigger light blue wire from under the steering colum and has a 25 amp fuse for the ignition circut under the dash. Cut it at your own risk.

Why not just add the EVS II Security System? You can get it from dodgeparts.com for $163 plus shipping. Then you can get a break from your insurance company also. You do have to take the truck to a dealer to have him update the computer that you have a security system.

I'm sure there are many systems on the market. I went with Viper. It works as advertised.
