I just put a set of cheapo NAPA rubber mudflaps on the back of my dually flatbed. The one on the exhaust side gets blown up and over the exhaust pipe, and ends up sitting on there. It's not melting, but I just put on a Jardine exhaust and once I get the stainless tip, that flap will mess it up good. . Any suggestions? Bolting some strap steel to the frontside vertically to make the flap more rigid? Some bar attached to the flatbed sticking down to keep them from blowing backwards? Or do those weights work? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
