I am looking to purchase some additional protection for the trailer when towing and am looking for recommendations on what works good. Do the brush style work, or are they mostly swaying in the breeze? I would like to have something that easily comes off, so will probably be something that hooks to the receiver tube. Geno's was selling the brush style but is now offering a more solid style. I have mud flaps on the truck, but in gravel, mud and snow the trailer still takes abuse, just looking to protect my investment.

I seen a set up from Pro Flaps out of Yakima at a vendors in Quartzite when I was holidaying. They had a set up that fits on the receiver tube as well as flaps to fit behind the wheels. It looked like a good set up and they shoudn't be to far from you.

Naw,Ive got custom ones. But Im thinking about getting a pair since these ones now arnt doing CRAP! and my less than a year old 6" tip is looking like its been in a sandblast/tar shop!

The flaps from northwest Custom was like... and I don't remember exactly but like $250/pair or so.

Hard to keep the Aluminum polished and pit-free but worth it... .

Thanks for the links, etc. I have a flatbed on my truck, so I either have to go with a full size truck flap like the Cummins ones OR the reciever tube mount. Jason makes some nice stuff, but I haven't seen any of his on other than a regular bed. I found a place online that will custom imprint truck flaps at around $100 a pair, so I might do that with my company logo.

I decided to go with the Dura Flap (kaydenco). Met the owner (Dennis) last night in Eugene, OR at a McDonalds parking lot for the install, and his flap is great and even better is the service. He is an ex-hot shotter and ex-Dodge owner and now builds custom mud flaps. He is going to re-do my "plain" flaps so they mount better for free. He is also going to experiment with a custom SS company logo for me and some other stuff that is very cool. Stay tuned.
