I just installed a set of aftermarket fender flares, similar to Laramie flares, looking for mud flaps like the OEM ones I took off that will fit. The ones I took off almost fit but not good enough. Living on a gravel road, every little bit of protection helps.

While I don't have flares I did put on some mud flaps. My previous truck did not have flares either but I did have the oem flaps. This truck I put on Duraflaps. They may not look quite as nice but they work much better and provide more coverage. Might be worth a look.

x2 on DuraFlaps. They are large, well made and good looking mud flats with various "custom" options and excellent customer service.

If you mention that you are a forum member, they will also give you 10% discount.

DURAFLAP!

I've had them installed well over a year and they are solid. All hardware is stainless steel and utilizes factory mounting points, no drilling. They come in differen widths for different tire sizes and wheel offsets.

Cheers,

I have dura flaps in the front of my dually. I have only washed my truck once since thanksgiving of 2015. My second wash was two months ago with 18,000 miles or so on the truck at the time. I had my touch up paint ready to do the bed flares. Between the dura flaps and my N Fab steps i was surprised to find not a single chip in the paint. I am now looking at doing the rears as i have a hard time driving around with the dealerships advertising on my rear flaps. I have personally talked with the Dura Flap owner. Great company. Great service and a forum discount.

Thanks for all the replies, it's an easy choice when you have real people giving advice on tested products! I enjoy being a member on this website, it's like going to a "cruise in" and talking with yer buddies for advice or ideas on modifications or upgrades. Again, thanks for the help.

I have a 2 day old 3500 dually. Just put the Dura flaps on the back tonight and will do the front tomorrow. Much easier to install than I thought and look great.
