Muffle Story

Hello everyone. About two yearsago I took my muffler off of my cummis and threw the muffler in the barn. Yesterday , I went to my local muffler shop to have my muffler put back on. The mechanic cut two inches off of the pipe and straw and hay fell out of it. I guess our mice in our barn was using it for a home. We decided not to put it on the truck and he is going to give me a piece for a new one. But, I was wondering if there was any way to clean the muffler out where I can still use it. just install it and give her a good run. . the pressure speed and heat of the exhaust will clear it out.



a guy i met once had to start an old cat dozer that had been sitting all spring summer & was fall now. he checked the intake out, and there were no critters living in there. there however, was a rather big nest of wasps [or hornets or bee's. he didn't know for sure] in the exhaust stack after the muffler... no problems. after checking fluids, got her cranking and gave er a shot of either and poof... the nest shot out of the stack. smoked them little things real good
